KiDSnav Setup Guide
Please follow our setup instructions
1, Charge your KiDSnav watch using the cable provided. (You will need to supply your own USB plug). Please charge the watch via a USB wall plug (and not via a laptop etc)
– Please use a >5V 2A adaper<
– Please do not charge the watch overnight
– Please do not leave the watch charging unattended
2, Please click on the image below to register your sim card (and to add credit). Your mobile number and PUK code is on the sim card pack.
IMPORTANT: You MUST register the sim card but you DO NOT have to add credit straight away. We STRONGLY ADVISE that you don’t add credit to the sim card straight away. All sim cards are provided with £1 credit on them. You won’t need to top up for at least a month after you first insert the sim card into the watch (dependant on use). Use this time to test the watch. We are unable to provide any refunds for sim card credit so please test the sim card before commiting to adding credit.
If you notice anything unusal, like the app showing the watch as ‘offline’, or the watch never showing a GPS signal, please see our >>FAQ<<
TOP TIP: You can check the balance on the sim card by calling 150 from the PHONE section of the watch
When you do top up the sim card, please use the 1pmobile ‘Classic’ tariff, not their boosts / bundle deals (so you don’t have to topup every month!)
(If you have lost your PUK code, please >>email us<< with the sim card phone number, and we’ll provide it for you)
3, Once the watch is fully charged, and credit has been applied to the sim card, please break off the NANO SIM from the sim card pack (the smallest size sim card)
4, Whilst the watch is still switched off (but if you accidently switch the watch on, please select settings > shutdown on the watch). Please insert the Nano sim card into the watch by placing the sim card correctly on the sim card tray holder. The watch face needs to be removed from the strap. Please see video below:
5, Please now turn on the watch by holding down the power button. It will take a few moments for the watch to recognise the sim card. Once recognised, the signal sign will show on the watch face. (You need to swipe the screen from top to bottom to see the signal bars).
6, Please now download the KiDSnav app by clicking the image below:
